T7 High Yield RNA Synthesis Kit uses T7 RNA Polymerase for in vitro transcription, using linear double-stranded DNA containing T7 promoter sequence as a template and NTPs as a substrate to transcribe downstream DNA sequences of promoters, enabling customers to obtain large amounts of RNA products easily and quickly. T7 High Yield RNA Synthesis Kit can also obtain biotin-, dye-, or radiolabeled RNAs using modified nucleosides as substrates and capped RNAs using cap structures or cap-like structures as substrates. This kit contains commonly used modified nucleosides for selection and use for transcription needs.
The kit is capable of transcribing 150~200 μg of RNA product in one reaction and can be scaled up to produce milligrams of RNA.
Application
Transcriptionally synthesized RNA can be used for applications such as RNA structure and function studies, RNase protection, probe hybridization, anti-sense RNA and RNAi, etc. It can also be used to generate mRNA by capping and tailing, which can be used for downstream applications such as in vitro translation and transfection.
